May 4, at 2:19 p.m., Edward S. Akers, 56, Paris, was cited at Jefferson and Court for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Akers was released on a notice to appear in court.

May 5, at 4:10 p.m., Charles F. Straw, 46, Paris, was arrested at 721 East Court St for disorderly conduct. Straw was transported to the Edgar County jail where he was held pending a court appearance.

May 5, at 11 p.m., Michael D. Brown, 59, Marshall was cited at Blackburn and Vance for no valid driver’s license. Brown was released on a notice to appear in court.

May 6, at 2:16 a.m., McQuade L. Peterson, 30, Marshall, was cited at High and Okalla for a suspended driver’s license, operating an uninsured vehicle and improper use of registration. Peterson was released on a notice to appear in court.

May 6, at 2:16 p.m., Paige C. Plew, 29, Marshall, was arrested at High and Okalla on an in-state Edgar County warrant, possession of methamphetamine, possession of hypodermic syringe and possession of drug paraphernalia. Plew was transported to the Edgar County jail pending a court appearance.

May 6, at 12:34 p.m., Candace Petticrew, 42, Paris, was arrested at 11639 Highway 1 on two counts of in-state Edgar County warrants. Petticrew was transported to the Edgar County jail where she was held without bond.

May 6, at 2:14 p.m., Ashley E. Swanson, 32, Paris, was issued city ordinance violation 115.11 – Outdoor accumulation of junk and trash at 723 North Central. Swanson was given a city court date.

May 6, at 9 p.m., Derek A. Sronce, 54, Paris, was arrested in the 700 block of West End Avenue on an in-state Clark County warrant. Sronce was transported to the Edgar County jail where he was held pending extradition to Clark County.

May 7, at 2:05 a.m. Spencer G. Heath, 18, Paris, was cited at Jasper and Boydston for driving while license suspended. Heath was released on a notice to appear in court.

The public is reminded that all people arrested, or otherwise charged, are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
