Feb. 7, at 1:19 p.m. the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Feb. 7, at 7:27 p.m. the department was dispatched to Washington Street to assist the Paris Police Department.

Feb. 7, at 7:38 p.m. the department was dispatched to 1300 E. and 1400 N. for a large fire. On scene firefighters found a large pile of trees burning in a controlled fire.

Feb. 7, at 10:16 p.m. the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Feb 9, at 11:37 a.m. the Grandview Station of the Paris Community Fire Protection District was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Feb. 10, 12:24 a.m. the department was dispatched to the 400 block of Milton Street for a smoke complaint. On scene firefighters smoke coming from a wood burning stove.

Feb. 11, at 5:54 a.m. the department was dispatched to Legion Avenue for a gas odor investigation. Firefighters found no problem.

Feb. 11 at 7:16 p.m. the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Feb. 11, at 8:11 p.m. the department was dispatched to FS for a possible anhydrous leak. No odors were found.

Feb. 12, at 9:14 a.m. the department was dispatched to North Central Avenue for a chimney fire. On scene firefighters found a resident using a fireplace.

Feb. 12, at 2:56 p.m. the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Feb. 12, at 5:44 p.m. the department was dispatched to Paris Community Hospital for an automatic alarm. On scene firefighters discovered dust set off the detector. No additional problems were found.

Feb. 12, at 6:09 p.m. the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Feb. 12, at 6:15 p.m. the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Feb. 13, at 1:24 p.m. the department was dispatched to Premium Packaging on Main Street for multiple alarms. No problem was discovered.

Feb. 13, at 2:59 p.m. the department was dispatched to provide medical assistance.

Feb. 14, at 3:49 a.m. the department was dispatched to Aspen Court for an activated smoke detector. No problems were found.

Feb. 14, at 8:37 a.m. the department was dispatched to Cargill for an automatic alarm. No problems were found.

Illinois State Police

Feb. 13, at 11:53 a.m. a two-vehicle accident with injury occurred at state Route 1 and Douglas Road, north of Marshall in Clark County. The first vehicle involved was a 1992 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by James N. Morris, 19, of West Union. The second vehicle was a 2019 Jeep utility driven by Madge L. Lagrand, 42, of Paris.

Police said Morris was driving south on Route 1 when the driver side rear wheel and tire came off the vehicle. Lagrand was driving north at the same location and the tire struck her vehicle. She was transported to Paris Community Hospital for treatment of what the police described as minor injuries.
