Harvest House closes its doors after nearly three years of service

Harvest House, a non-profit located in the former HRC building at 118 East Court Street in downtown Paris, is closing its food pantry. The news first broke on the Harvest House Facebook page and was later confirmed by The Prairie Press.

According to Harvest House Vice President Virginia English, the closure is a result of health issues faced by Harvest House's president Ken Brown, not a lack of response by the community. During Harvest House’s last food drive, more than 130 families participated – the largest number ever for the organization.
