Paris’ bee-loved Honeybee Festival is fast approaching, and the Paris Lions Club is accepting entries for the celebration’s parade.
A registration form is available online. The cost of registration before Friday, Sept. 6 is $20 per entry and increases to $25 after the deadline. The parade is scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 28.
Proceeds from registration fund a scholarship for local youth, according to a post on the Paris Lions Club Honeybee Parade Facebook page.
“This is another way as a volunteer group we give back to the community,” it reads.
Fees are payable by check and can be mailed to PO Box 391, Paris, Il. 61944 C/O Amy Hill. Checks should be made payable to the Paris Lions Club.
