Around 10:30 a.m., July 17, Paris Fire, Paris Police and Horizon Health EMS personnel responded to a single-vehicle accident at the intersection of Main and Kimble Street in Paris.
First responders quickly secured the scene and the left lane of Main Street was temporarily closed. One adult and two children were in the vehicle – fortunately no injuries were reported.
According to witnesses, the driver of the vehicle was trying to avoid a collision with an unknown blue vehicle, colliding with two power poles and one parking sign in the process. One of the power poles was uprooted completely and Ameren was contacted to assist with the electrical issues.
