What’s your name? Your grade? Where do you attend school?

Eli Kelly, Eighth grade, Crestwood.

 

What is(are) your favorite subject(s)? What draws you to that subject?

Social studies, because I like to learn about history.

 

What extracurricular activities are you involved in (clubs, sports, volunteer efforts)? Why?

I am involved in track.

 

What is your dream job?

My dream job would be a professional athlete, preferably basketball.

 

What is your favorite snack food?

My favorite snack is Gushers.

 

Dream vacation spot?

Paris, France.

 

What is a piece of media (book, movie, TV show, video game) you think everyone should experience?

I think they should experience Fortnite.      

 

What is your favorite memory from this school year so far?

Going to Lake Land College and playing one-on-one with a player was fun.

 

Who is a teacher, staff member, or coach who has made a positive impact on you? How did they do it?

It would be Mrs. Horner because she is nice and helps me out.

 

What is your advice to younger students?

Be brave, do well in school, and don’t let others bring you down.

 

What does your family look like? Do you have any siblings?

Yes, I do have a younger brother, and we are a nice family. We don’t really fight, but if we do it’s me and my brother.

 

Do you have any pets? What is your favorite type of pet?

Yes, we have two dogs and two cats; they all love each other. My favorite pet is a dog.

 

If you can accomplish anything in your life, what would it be?

To help others in need.

 

What’s your favorite restaurant?

Texas roadhouse.

 

If you could go to lunch with anyone, from any part of history, who would it be and why?

It would be cool to be with my old ancestors to see how it was back then because I like the history.

 

What are your goals for 2024?

I hope to do better in school get better at racing.

 

What do you think is the biggest problem facing the world? Why?

I think it is drug use; it is hurting our people and their loved ones.

 

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

It was from my grandpa; he told me, “Don’t worry about what other people think; you are you and just be you.
